Hi, hi! We’ve got a quick update for the readers.
Sorry for the last-minute change, but due to the impending storm, we will be moving the location for tomorrow’s SWAG meeting (Saturday 9/16, 10:00 am) to the indoor waiting area of the MBTA garage. We can move to a covered/not enclosed area if the winds allow, but we want to make sure we are protected in case it’s windy.
The irony of co-opting a car-centric structure for a pedestrian advocacy meeting is not lost on us. 🙂 We’ve got half a mind to keep doing it in the future.
We will be discussing the Haunted Happenings costumed crosswalk event (Sunday 10/15) and hosting a discussion on limiting right turns on red, as discussed at the City Council meeting this week. We will also briefly discuss some PR/outreach materials (we have new stickers!) and our collaboration with the Commission on Disabilities.
